I made this for my
best friends birthday this year. We share the same birthday and I wanted to do something special since we've been friends since 2nd grade. I never made her a cake before so I decided to surprise her with one.
She loves anything tropical. And since this was my third fondant cake, I was testing out different techniques, like figures, painting and adding sand. The shape is a little odd, but it kinda looks like a globe. I loved painting the water, but next time I'll use vodka instead of water so that It'll dry faster.
